Creating surface patterns is my way of exploring visual relationships that both represent my brand and my current influences. I have developed a process of illustrating iconic symbols by hand and then turning them into vector artwork using Adobe Illustrator. I develop color palettes and repeating swatches to create these compositions of varying degrees of complexity. I then can use these prints for my other creations such as greeting cards, calendars, gift boxes, coasters, and digital wallpapers.
