I'm Maeve!
I am a designer and mixed media artist based in Boston.
Ever since I can remember, I have been creating my brand. It began in pre-k, when I refused to wear anything but “favorite dress” and my dress-up shoes. And still not even hesitating when I slipped in green paint and ruined favorite dress. It was at this age that I learned the most important lesson my mom has taught me. Some people live in a world where everything is black and white, others see the shades of gray, but my mom taught me to live in color.
It was shortly after this age when my identity became the creative. My work features bold color palettes and a strong physical touch in an unapologetic way, to position itself from the increasingly mundane colors of our environment–inviting audiences to admire, celebrate. I am constantly learning and evolving; thank you for being here to take part in this journey with me.

MY NOTE ON AI
Art and design are both deeply personal and deeply human. I use computers as an extension of the human hand, not in place of. At this time, I don't use AI in my creative process or consent to the use of my work to "train" generative artificial intelligence. I prefer to create junk the old fashioned way!
